Crime Alert Issued

OSU policed issued a crime alert. A male student said he was approached by two black males and one white male all ages 20-25 on Norwich Ave. between Neil Ave. and N. High St. around 2:50 AM. One of the men struck him in the head several times, put him against a vehicle, and stole his wallet.

Bank Robbery

A man entered the National City Bank at the above location and handed the teller a note that said, “This is a robbery, put the money and the bag, and no dye pack.” The teller complied and the suspect left eastbound on 16^th Ave. then southbound on N. Pearl St. The dye pack then exploded and a money trail was found where the suspect dropped money with the dye on it.

Female Robbed at Gunpoint

A 20 year old female said as she was walking with a friend at the above location a man approached them and displayed a silver handgun. He told her to drop her purse, which she did. The man then picked it up and got into a dark colored Oldsmobile and fled eastbound

Man Robbed at Gunpoint

A 20 year old male said a man approached him behind his residence at the above location and pointed a silver revolver at him. The man then robbed him, taking his cell phone, driver’s license, and Social Security card.

Man Offered Weed, Then Robbed

A 17 year old male said he was approached by a black male who offered to sell him some weed. He said that he was not interested several times and when he tried to walk away, the male pushed him against the building and demanded his money. The man was able to get $20. The man was described as a black male, age 42-47, 6’2” – 6’3”, 200-210 lbs., with a knit cap and camouflage jacket.

Man Knocked Unconscious and Robbed

A 20 year old male said he was hit in the head from behind, leaving him unconscious. He awoke in the area of 12^th Ave. and Indianola Ave. and had been robbed of his wallet, ID, credit cards, and debit card.

Men Try to Force Female Into Car

A 21 year old female said she was walking home when a man pulled up and tried to get her into his car. Another passenger in the car got out, grabbed her by the shoulders and attempted to push her towards the car. The female was able to run away.

Man Robbed at Gunpoint

A 22 year old male said he was chased by some males. As he was hiding in an alley one of the men said, “I’ve got your back.” The men then confronted him and one of them pulled out a gun and took cash from him.

Male Offered Ride, Robbed

An 18 year old male said a man offered to give him a ride back to the campus area from 375 S. High St. Upon reaching the above location, the man pulled out a knife and said, “Give me your money and your wallet and get the fuck.” The victim gave up his money and got out of the vehicle.

Man Walks Into Restaurant, Eats Someone Elses Food, Hits Them

A 21 year old male said a person he knew entered the BW-3s at the above location and began to eat his food and then hit him in the face. An employee of the restaurant was able to gain control of the person until police arrived.

Man Robbed at Gunpoint of Jersey and Cash
